As web development is a creative work, you will not get 100% guideline to complete a project. You’ll just find some knowledge base and realization stage guide line from any course or any tutorial. So you have to apply your own creativity using these knowledge to be a good web developer and later good to great web developer. Event I’ll not show you 100%. In-fact it’s not possible to transfer any kind of knowledge from a person to another. It’s not like a therapy, you know. So, let’s see what kind of resources is important for you and where to find these.

Meaning of Short Form (Tag): From my point of view application development field like website, software and game are the only three field where most of the things are described in tags. You will find all the sentences and words as short as possible. So first of all you need to understand the meaning of all kind of tag and short word meaning. For an example you will find three short form of sentences and word in a domain/url (Uniform Resource Locator).
See, I have already used a short form called “URL”. Anyway, in a domain you will find three short tags.

  • HTTP/HTTPS: Hyper Text Transfer Protocol/Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secured
  • WWW: World Wide Web
  • .COM: (Extension): Commerce/Company/Community/Computer (There are some difference of opinion for this name.)

So, hope you understand, how important it to know the full meaning of a short sentence or what does a word stand for.

Now there may have a question in your mind, “Where will I find the list containing such kind of tags meaning?”
It’s quite easy to find these kind of stuffs. You just need to use your searching skill on search engines like Google. just type some keywords or a sentence on the google search bar and hit on the search button. Then you will find thousands of reference relating your keywords. For an example, if you want to know the meaning of “www”, just type “What is the meaning of www” or “Full meaning of www” on your google search bar and hit on the search button. you will find a lot of answers about “www” google. Just consider the top rated site’s article as the best information and visit there. That’s it.

Note that Wikipedia is the best website to find any kind of information and everybody consider it as the most reliable encyclopedia. So always try to follow the Wikipedia reference.

Programming Languages/Codes: In my Introduction tutorial, I’ve mentioned that to learn web development you must learn programming/coding. Don’t you know really where to learn programming/coding? Content Marketplaces: As you are asking that how to learn web development, you must need to know about some virtual product (Template, Banner, Plugins etc.) marketplace, which is very useful and essential for every web developer. There are so many content marketplace in the internet but I always prefer, Envato Market. How to learn Web Development? (Introduction)

HOW TO LEARN WEB DEVELOPMENT? (INTRODUCTION)

As per my commitment, I’m now writing about how to learn web development. This is an introduction article. In this post I’ll share about what the basic and primary thing is needed to learn web development. I’m working as an web developer in various type of industrial and corporate field for couple of years. So, I’ll share all of the information, tips, tricks and techniques according to my own experience. So, let’s start.

Let me first tell about what is web development and how it works.

Definition: If I tell the internationally granted definition of Web Development, it will be like “Web development is a broad term for the work involved in developing a web site for the Internet (World Wide Web) or an intranet (a private network). Web development can range from developing the simplest static single page of plain text to the most complex web-based internet applications, electronic businesses, and social network services. A more comprehensive list of tasks to which web development commonly refers, may include web engineering, web design, web content development, client liaison, client-side/server-side scripting, web server and network security configuration, and e-commerce development.” (Source: Wikipedia)

Note that at the beginning of the definition it has already been said that Web Development is a broad term, so it can not be described in some sentences or pages about what web development actually is. Even in my case, it will need about a ten thousands words article to describe about web development. After that it will not be properly written. So this time we will not go for it elaborately.

Basic Requirements: To learn web development, first of all you have to meet some basic requirements.

  • English (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking)
  • Good Searching Sense on Search Engines (Google, Yahoo, AOL etc.)
  • Programming Language/Coding (Minimum: HTML, CSS, mySQL, PHP, JavaScript)
  • Programming Tools
  • Domain and Hosting Management
  • Content Management System (CMS) Mangaement
  • Color Sense

This is some primary criteria that you must meet. After that there are huge thing that you should have to learn and know as well.

You may have a common question that every beginner often asks me. Is a programmer/coder a web developer?

My answer is “No”. Not all the programmer/coder are web developer but every web developer is a programmer/coder. Programming Languages are used in various purposes like web development, software development, game development. After learning programming languages different programmers involved their-selves in different field. So, is it clear? I hope so.

You may have an another question in your mind. Are Web Designing and Web Development same thing?

Again my answer is “No” Web Designing and Web Development are not the same thing. Web Design is the outer structures, color combinations and style of a website which can be design by anyone who have a designing idea. It can be designed using Photoshop, illustrator and any other graphic designing tools. In one word I will tell web design is the “Static Template” of a website.

On the other hand, web development is the system development process of a website from back-end to front-end using programming languages. Using the languages depend on which type of web application system and design you want to develop.

So these are some basic introduction about web development for today. I’ll start sharing the main tutorials about how to learn web development from next post secuelly. Where to and how to start the beginning?

Where to and how to start the beginning

Today I’m going to say something for the newbie, specially who are about to start their professional career in their preferred field. Most of the people suffer from frustration at the eve of their career. They don’t know where to start their work and how to make sure that it has properly done.

I’m not claiming myself as a specialist or motivator at all. I’m just writing this article based on my personal experience. I’ll share what kind of obstacle and trouble I have faced and how I have overcome these, that’s it. And my thinking is that everyone have to face the same problem at the beginning of their career. I’ve got this theory by hearing from others story and found a lot of similarities from their experience with mine as well.

Well, let’s learn about Where to and how to start the beginning of career.
  • Mindset: The first thing is needed to start is your mindset. If you are determined to conquer something and try heart and soul, you must get success. So, to start a profession, first you have to choose a field where you find your self satisfaction. Always remember, either take your profession as your passion or turn your passion as your profession. Otherwise in just few days, you will be demotivated from your profession.
  • Learn and Learn: See, I had mentioned the word “Learn” twice here. Do you know why? Because to do any work accurately, you will need to be good at on it first. So the importance of learning is immense here. Keep learning about preferred field even each and every little object even of your till death.
  • Practice and Repeat: Practice today what you learnt yesterday and repeat this tomorrow. How beneficial is it? It’s inconceivable. You must hear about a proverb, “Practice makes man perfect”. So, if you practice a thing twice you will be able to solve the previous mistakes and complete that more accurately. It will be bound in twice, not like that. You have to practice again and again until you can solve it without any single mistake. If you follow this theory regularly, I swear that you will be initiate a perfect and polished project every time.
  • Presentation and Communication: When you will realize that you are now capable to take any kind of responsibility, go for improving your presentation and communication skill. This is a must needed quality to get any kind of deal. If you are unable to describe what do you know actually, how can it be possible for others to judge your quality? So, make sure that you have a good quality over presentation and communication.
  • Working Environment: Always keep the place in a working environment wherever. Make sure that the people you are surround by are concern about you and your vision. Try to get in touch with people who are belong to your profession. If you maintain and follow all these things regularly and properly, hope you will be able to shake off all your frustration to start your career.

Never think about how to earn money, think about how to develop yourself with full of skill and qualities. Finally I will like to end this article with a speech again.

Either take your profession as your passion or turn your passion as your profession.
